The treatment of a brain-damaged comatose British boy is at the center of a legal battle in the UK.

Archie Battersbee, 12, was found unresponsive at his home in Southend, southeast England, on April 7.

Doctors treating him at the Royal London Hospital in the British capital told a court the boy was “very likely” to be “brain dead” and asked to be taken off life support.

After that, a judge ruled on June 13 that the treatment should be suspended.
