Bolton: Little Lever crash leaves motorcyclist with ‘significant injuries’


A woman was taken to hosital with significant injuries after a crash involving a motorbike and a car.

The collision happened on Dovebank Road in Little Lever on Tuesday at 6.30pm.

A local councillor said the road was cordoned off as emergency services attended.

Paramedics were called to the scene.

A spokesperson for North West Ambulance Service said: “We responded to an road traffic collision involving a car and motorcyclist following a call at 6.28pm.

“The rider – a woman in her 30s – was taken to hospital with significant injuries.”

Councillor for Little Lever and Darcy Lever, Sean Hornby, says he has spoken to witnesses who described a police cordon in the area.

Police were also have said to have been alerted to the accident.
