Hollywood’s deaf community shines at the opera


Gustavo Dudamel, director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic who recently brought together deaf musicians, lyrical singers and actors for the staging of the only opera written by Beethoven, is the main guest in a new “Showbiz” special. Dudamel tells Juan Carlos Arciniegas what he learned from this unusual artistic integration.
